I'm glad too, although Banshees going 0 for 9 was rough! I didn't love that movie when I first watched it but it's one I've thought about lots and lots of times since then. It grew on me for sure.
Looking forward to finishing up TLoU tonight, tho I sure am going to cry, I can guarantee.
I'm back to work today after a bit of a long weekend - spent Thursday in the big city to work at the fancy office and then see a current favourite band AND their opener, who was a favourite band from when I was an angsty teenager. Great show, already wish I could go see them again immediately. Truly, there is nothing quite like live music.
I have not been reading anything of late, which I need to fix. My habitual reading time has dissolved into playing games on my phone again, so I need to re-establish the habit and see what's available in my TBR on libby.
Did you finish TLOU yet? I'm excited to hear your thoughts, it's definitely a finale that inspired a lot of discussion.
YAY live music. I haven't gone to a concert since before covid. ):
I currently have Their Eyes Were Watching God, Psycho, and a book about LA checked out from Libby and all three are counting down the days without me so much as opening them. I either make all the time in the world to read or I don't at all, I need to find a happy middle.
My husband and I have been rewatching seasons 1 and 2 of Ted Lasso in anticipation of season 3. It’s just so good, we were wondering if they could keep it up for Season 3. This of course led to a discussion about shows with terrible last seasons after being so good. (GLOW being the worst for us recently). Anyway, fingers crossed it gets better! #believe
Did you like the premiere? I'm hoping it gets better but I think making the new episodes so long doesn't help, there's some room for dead air where I wish they were making more jokes! Aww man, I miss GLOW. I think that last season would've been better if they had one more after like planned. A lot of shows mess up at the very end, Seinfeld is another one that I always think about for that.

We haven’t watched the premiere yet, still enjoying our rewatch, not quite ready to plunge in!
