What I'm Watching: Platonic, The Other Two, It Happened One Night, and More

Here’s the rundown on everything I watched, read, and wrote about this week.

The shows:

• Rose Byrne and Seth Rogen have an Apple TV+ show called Platonic coming out, and I really like it. I was worried it would be a little too Apatow-ish for my sensibilities (he’s not involved, Rogen + the premise just remind me of him) but it’s a consistently funny and surprisingly cringe-free comedy about two old friends (one married with kids, one recently divorced) reconnecting. The show delivers on its title in a great – and, honestly, rare – way. Full review to come!
